Business Ethics

At Tribal Mango our main priority is to provide good quality products at a good price together with excellent customer service. However, we are also concerned with sustainability, minimising environmental impact, giving something back in the form of donating part of our profit to charity and encouraging ethical and fair trade.

Sustainability

We seek to offer products that are made from sustainable resources and natural or recycled materials. See our Natural Materials page for information on some of the materials used.

Environmental Impact

In order to reduce our environmental impact we reuse all the packaging materials that we can such as cardboard boxes. All the new packaging we use is either recyclable and/or resuseable and virtually all of it is also biodegradeable including the bubblewrap and clear sticking tape. The only exception to this is brown parcel tape for which we have been unable so far to find a suitable alternative. The gift boxes we use for jewellery are made from recycled card

Fair and Ethical Trade

All of our products are sourced from ethical or fair trade suppliers. We believe this benefits not only the individuals and co-operatives etc. involved but it also benefits the environment as it encourages small-scale sustainable production. Very often the materials used in production are sourced locally. See Ethical and Fair Trade for more information.

Nominated Charity

Part of our business ethic is that we should give something back which is why Tribal Mango donate £1 for every order of £25 or more to The Smile Train.  See Our Nominated Charity page for more information about this worthwhile charity.
