Do you have an environmental policy?
We believe that we should try to minimise our environmental impact where possible and so operate according to these principles;
- We seek to offer products that are made from sustainable resources and natural or recycled materials.
- We reuse all the packaging materials that we can such as cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and polystyrene chippings etc.
- All the new packaging we use is recyclable and biodegradable including the bubble wrap and clear packaging tape. The only exception to this is occasionally we need to use wide brown packaging tape and so far have been unable to source a suitable biodegradable one.
- The gift boxes we use for jewellery are made from recycled card.
- All of our products are sourced from ethical or fair trade suppliers. We believe this benefits the environment as it encourages small-scale sustainable production, also, very often the materials used in production are sourced locally.
